Our Meles is very much alive in us. There is not a day that goes by without thinking about him. He has touched us in a way very few people in our lifetime will. He is truly a selfless human being. Two weeks is just too long for a bad dream, it's an unbounded nightmare. When are we gonna wake up from our deepest sleep and find the worst is over and to find you to be alive. Ohhh please somebody shake us up, toss us up and down .we need our conciseness against our nightmare. So that your death could be a lie. The entire cry, the despair, the solitude we feel .could just vanish away and you stay in flesh among us.
Oh god please rouse Ethiopia from this bad dream, so that when she wakes in the morning .all the hurt is gone. How could a one eyed person to be forbidden the only one, how could a wing be taken away from a flying bird, how could a priest to be taken away his faith or how a carpenter loses his hands …… how, how, how. Just could not find a closure on it. meles zenawi, you are exceedingly missed , we hope it was just a dream . When we wake up you are near. Protecting us, leading us, humoring us…

I am saddened by your sudden death. You were a great man. Thank GOD we were able to see your great contributions to Ethiopia. I always appreciate the ethnic equality we observed in Ethiopia during your time. You have achieved this long time ago! Generally speaking, today, there is no one who is ashamed of his/her ethnic group in Ethiopia. I know that your opponents do not agree with your ethnic based politics and blame you for that. This is wrong!!!
One cannot undermine your significant achievements in the area of agriculture development and food security, real estates and housing, copy rights, women's right,education and health, self-employment, regional development and the construction of various dams and your vision of the Great Millennium Dam (Great Millennium Meles Dam, I call it) ...We always remember you for these....
Your death has brought the Ethiopians together more than ever- we are able to see your great good part. I think this is a time for healing and forgiveness... Let the Lord comfort your family, relatives and the Ethiopian society.

All were surprised including his mates when he came to Minlhk's Palas. He however lived there and lived there forever!!!

Prime meles was a hero who works hardly and with restless for his motherland & for africa,he can assure the right for women & children,ethiopia now an access for road,transport,education,loan clean water & light telephone and mobile services in melese's successful effort,he also shows ways for pouverty reduction,we lost the hero,but we million ethiopian can unite and achieve his bright vision.

May "GOD" put you on his right side. I am sure you will be looking down on us. You are truly the reflection of perfection of human nature.

P.M Meles Zenawi was a great leader and a great visionary. In his leadership, there was no single defining action, no solitary lucky break or no miracle moment. Rather his work resembled relentlessly pushing a giant heavy flywheel in on direction building momentum until a point of breakthrough and beyond. It is unfortunate to see such a person parish at such young age. However I take great pride and comfort by knowing that he did leave a mindset of generation with a willingness to face challenges for what they stand for with a purpose that goes far beyond just making money. Just by seeing and hearing the recent reactions of fellow Ethiopians back home, I can clearly see that he was a clock builder, not just a time teller; he build a system that can prosper beyond his presence. What a conviction!
My sincere condolences first and foremost to his wife and kids. May you find comfort in the memories you shared with him and by knowing that he was loved and will be missed not only by his country but also by the entire African continent.
