Melinda Gay Gregor Shockey Obituary
Mendy was born October 10th, 1962 in Independence, Missouri to Frank J. and Betty J. (Casey) Shockey. Mendy was a general manager at Osco. In her younger years she was a dental assistant, she was also a wonderful pianist, and most importantly a devoted mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Mendy is survived by her daughter, Heather Gregor and her fiancé Eric Rick; two grandchildren, Ava and Mark Rick; two brothers, Steve (Denise) Shockey and Doug (Karen) Shockey.
Visitation is scheduled on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 9-10am at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Funeral service will begin at 10am. Cremation is planned.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mendy.
