Time has passed. Hoping you find comfort in knowing Mindy lives on in the hearts and memories of so many.

I had one chance encounter with Mindy sometime last summer or fall. I was at work at the Co-op Food Store on Albert and 25th. It was an interesting day... having seen a couple of relatives I hadn't seen in a long while. A few customers through my till later, keying in the member number resulted in me meeting Mindy. Of all the cashiers (4-5) on that day, I was the lucky one. I provided a bit of explanation as to which family I was born and we chatted briefly. I remember thinking how beautiful her soul felt, the light that shone in her eyes and her smile...

How blessed I am to be able to say... "Yes, I met her and she was beautiful!"

A soul such as hers shines forever in anyone whom she touched.

I met Mindy at Sask Polytech as she saw me looking for the coffee bags to make another pot of coffee. Mindy was so down to earth, helpful, funny, positive and a wonderful colleague & friend. I feel blessed to have known her. My prayers are with you all as you celebrate her wonderful life, and mourn the tremendous loss.

Charles and Family. Mindy and I first met at STI, and we were both surprised to run into each other at SIAST 20 some years later. We had numerous lunches together and I came to realize that Mindy was one of the most balanced people I knew - equal amounts of serious and fun, casual and formal, with a dash of feistiness - and she had her priorities straight; family was always first in her mind. We will all miss her laugh and her way of telling it like it was. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

So sorry to hear of Mindy's passing. I met Mindy several times at family functions as I am good friends with your sister Linda. I also worked at SIAST and would often run into Mindy in the elevator. I also visited at your home on the farm once with Linda and of course was welcomed with open arms. Her bubbly, caring personality will be missed - she truly was a gem! May God carry you and your children through the very difficult days ahead.

I was so sorry to hear of Mindy's passing. I have fond memories of my time at Kronau and Charles and Mindy were always such supportive parents.

Charles and Mindy's family, I can only imagine your hurt over losing Mindy from your lives. You see, she was a shining star in all the lives of the people that she worked with. She gave her utmost to help everyone even when she was swamped with emails, forms and the telephone ringing. Mindy had a way of making me feel special and deserving of attention. She considered my problems seriously and did all that she could to help me find solutions. She listened, she consoled and she gave really good advise. Even though we were 'just co-workers', her personality, charm and charisma will stay with me forever. I am confident that anyone who has come in contact with her will feel the same. It is true. You have lost a treasure of a human being. Know that the whole world that she has touched has lost the same. There is truly no one like Mindy! I am so very thankful to have had her in my life. Without a doubt, a spirit like hers cannot be squelched. She lives on with each new blossom, each fresh snowflake, and every promise of new things to come. My sincerest sympathies to you all.

Mindy always called me Capt'n instead of Cathy, I loved it. Mindy was a beautiful person, kind, funny, and loving. She talked about her condo in Elkford with enormous pride, she loved going there. I will miss her greatly, we connected regularly for business reasons, but always took the time to talk about our lives, our kids, and most recently Mindy's grandchild - she loved that little peanut. I grew up across the street from Mindy and have many fond memories. I always admired her because she was so smart. She would help me study for exams. The one thing I can still hear is her laugh. We did have fun growing up together. To her family my heartfelt condolences. Rest in Peace my friend.
