Los Angeles, California. Melinda "Mindy" Lea McClure was born in Newport Beach, California, to Shirley JoAnne Neff and Gerald Lealand McClure. She graduated from East High School In SLC, Utah. During school she modeled, which included newspapers, magazines, and television commercials. She was invited to live with Eileen Ford in NYC, progressing into even larger markets of this profession. After graduation she attended the University of Utah and Westminster College, with a degree in Aviation.
Mindy pursued her aviation career, becoming qualified in many multi-engine craft; including a 737 and a 777 aircraft. She was a daughter, sister, mother, and friend to all that met her. Her giving and open heart, intelligence and unwavering kindness, were known and felt by everyone fortunate to be around her.
She fought a courageous battle with Cancer, however it's toll finally proved to be too much. Mindy will always be remembered, loved, and
Forever missed. Her absence in this life, a profound tragedy.
We will always remember her never ending beauty, and long for her kind and loving actions of love. Mindy made life better for each of us; we will never forget her, and will always remember and miss her tremendously.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents. Gerald Lealand McClure and JoAnne Neff, and her step father Bobby Dean Blackley. She is survived by her son Merrick Gerald McClure, and her siblings Shannon Lynne McClure, Elizabeth Anne (Libbie) O'Neal, and Beau Dean Blackley.
