Melinda was a Saint. She was a wonderful person who always treated me great. I hope Brian's family can get through this and celebrate Melinda's life. She did more for Brian than anyone since the late 80s. My condolences go out to her family and the extended family. Love an Mercy.

Brian was so lucky to have Melinda in his life. The poor man can't catch a break at all. He had so many personal trials and so many tragedies. She came at the right time in his life to be the steadying force he needed. Rest in peace, Melinda.

No words can say how grateful I am for Melinda taking care of Brian all those years. It took an exceptional woman to do that, and Melinda was that woman.
Brian, even though you don´t know me, I´ve always felt like you´re my "big brother" (I´ll be 76 in May). You´re my favorite musician and The Beach Boys have always been my favorite group.
Love and Mercy,

I worked for Brother Records in Hollywood in the early 1970's and there wasn't a nicer family than Brian, Dennis, Carl. They would sometimes sit on the couch in my office/supply area and visit, very down to earth. Melinda saved this man and made him happy and cared for children who were not hers and Brian's until they adopted them and made them their own. Blessed be to all of you who grieve for this woman. She is still with you and love never dies.
Sincerely, Jane Davis

I remember seeing Melinda at countless shows over the years, always in the audience, cheering the band on. Her unwavering love and support for Brian was the primary reason we have been so lucky over the past few decades to see performances that were mere dreams before she loved and nurtured his soul. Rest in Peace. You're an Angel now.

She gave us Brian back, there was so much that he couldn't get out to his followers until Melinda came in to his life. We own her so much reverence, for so much more. RIP and LOVE and MERCY!
