MELISSA HAID Obituary
After a long, courageous battle with leukemia, Melissa, age 33, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012, of Allentown. Loving mother of Anthony M. Haid and Johnson A. Trecki; beloved fiancee of John A. Trecki, Jr.; beloved daughter of David G. Haid and Sandra C. Haid; loving sister of Julie L. Haid; beloved daughter-in-law of Thelma K. Vilsack. She will be greatly missed by so many countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors on Floor T7 at West Penn Hospital. Friends received Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JAMES J. BARRY, JR. FUNERAL HOME, INC., 608 Warrington Ave.

I can't believe that it's almost 1 year since we lost you. There is not one day that goes by that I don't think of you and wish you were here. I wish so bad that I could pick up the phone and call you. I look at your number in my cell phone all the time. I want to call it and I hope you would just answer. I know that you are in a better place and you are not suffering and in any pain but you can call me selfish for wanting you to be here! Baby Kylie will be here in a couple of weeks and she will be given your middle name and I will make sure that she knows what a wonderful person she is named after. I love and miss you very much!!!

I just found out about Missy from Jimmy Shag. I
feel terrible that I didn't know sooner to offer my
condolences at the time. God's beautiful world
will endure despite the sadness, may you find

Well Meme, It's been almost two weeks since we lost you.I knew the days and weeks to come would be hard, but I never imagined that it would be like this. I miss you more than words can say. You were not only my best friend since we were little girls, but most of all you were my SISTER. I hope you are watching over all of us and being our special angel. I know in my heart that I will see you again one day. I miss and love you soo very much:)

I am so sorry for your lose. I only knew Missy a couple months before she got sick but she grew in my heart. I met Missy at Bp. She will definitely be missed.
Missy was one of the nicest, sweetest, fun, loving person I ever met. Her main concern was her children. She is now in heaven watching over all without the pain and suffering. Rest in Peace Missy. We all Love you.

Melissa was such a beautiful person, when we would see her with the kids, never complained about anything, she was a very strong person. Our prayers are with you, if there is anything we can do just let us know, were just a phone call away. If you need just to scream evey once in a while Sandy you know where I am, just a walk up the street. Remember the good times and cherrish on to that, Melissa maybe with the angels now but you can always cherrish on the good memories no one can take that.

To the whole Haid Family ,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Melissa fought a very long and hard fight till the very end. Know that is she no longer in pain and will always be with you . She would not want you to sit there and be sad she would want you to smile , remember the good times and have fun. She is now a guardian angle that will be looking down at each and every one of you.

Word's cannot express the sympathy I have for Melissa's family. Melissa John and I all went to school and grew up together. John, you have to be the strongest man alive I know for having dealt with such an uncaring illness. Continue to be strong for your boys. I will see you sometime on Tuesday.
