Melissa Meza Obituary
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Calixto and Aurora G. Castillo, her paternal grandfather Joe Meza.
She leaves behind her precious daughters, Celeste Yvette-Marie Morales, Danielle Alexis and Ava Lauren Maynard; parents Frank and Sandra K. Garcia; siblings, Marc (Laura) Castillo, Melinda (Jared) Hyman, Maranda A. Garcia, Frank C. Garcia; aunt and uncles, Grace (Adan) Chavez, Carl (Lydia) Castillo; special friend Kevin Seavey. Also surviving are her paternal grandmother, Senona Meza; her father David (Connie) Meza; siblings, David (Kelli), Tony (Andi), Lewis (Erica) and Dustin (Amanda) Meza all from Arizona; uncles and aunts, Diana, Joe, Esther, Danny, Richard, and Ruby Ann Meza.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that same evening on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Corpus Christi with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Chavez, Rene Chavez, Carlos Castillo, Richard Meza, Lewis Meza, and Jesse Morales.
We sincerely thank each of you for your prayers during this tragic time. God Bless you, especially her co-workers from Dow Chemical-Esther, Chuck and Nick. You were truly good friends. Please continue to pray for our Celeste.

It was a privilege to have worked with Melissa for almost 10 years. I will miss that smile (your eyes smiled too) and your bubbly personality. There are so many of us who worked with you every day that are still in shock that you are no longer with us. It was not your time. Your children, and your family will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to the family and beautiful daughter's Melissa leaves behind. I worked with Melissa and she's one of the most beautiful souls I'd ever met. I never saw her without a smile and the way she talked about her girls, oh how she loved them. Melissa, you are a great and wonderful person and will be forever rememberd and greatly missed.

My heart aches for Melissa's family. My condolences to you all. Special prayers go out to Melissa's daughters; Celeste, Danielle and Ava, that God will guide them in maybe, possibly someday healing their emotional and mental wounds from this horrific tragedy. And additional prayers go out to Celeste for the healing of her physical wounds.

Melissa - I will always carry my memories of our weekly lunches which we both used as therapy sessions, the great times we had and deep conversations. You were such a good friend and strong peron, you will be missed deeply. I will never forget you. Your family will be in my prayers.

Melissa- So many fun memories- especially our trip to Mexico- Riding on ATVs through the jungles of Mexico, singing, dancing and laughing! I'm so blessed that you were a part of my life.
