Hey Mark I just found out. I worked on Pete and Pete and am devastated to hear this news so late in the game. I know what it is to find the love of your life but have not experienced the pain of losing that. My heart and prayers go out to you always. Love is eternal.

I am so sorry for your loss. Melissa and I used to work together 15 years ago and then lost touch. I'm so happy to know that she married Mark and had two daughters. I'll always remember the talks we had on music and the time I went to their apartment in Springfield for her Acadamy Awards party.

I can tell, even from pictures that she was warm, radiant, and beautiful in every way. She lives in on everyone who felt that radiance.

God, this broke my heart. Mark and I met in Albany a few years back when he played a gig with Walter Salas Humara. I was thrilled to finally see him live in such an intimate venue and doubly excited as we talked about our mutual love for the red sox after the show. I even have a pink pig t-shirt. Bless you and the little ones.

Very sorry for this loss... from what I've read she seemed a very unique and thoughtful woman. It's a terrible shame for the world and to those of us that never had the pleasure of knowing her. My thoughts and condolences go out to the Mulcahy family.

I am so, so very sorry...

I was going to write something about God, and peace, and your beloved wife and your daughters' mother keeping my best friend, Sara, company in heaven, but I just think - I think it's lousy to lose someone so wonderful so quickly . And I'm truly sorry for all of you.

Dear Mark, I hope you are gettng along one day at a time with some fleeting moments of happiness now and again. I'm sure the girls help keep you sane and grounded. Thank goodness for your family. You are a good man... with good friends. My heart breaks for you. The news was so sad. I empathize with your loss. I don't understand the twist and turns of life. Melissa was a gift in your life, a beautiful moment, a lovely individual, a joy and comfort, a wife, a friend. You were lucky to have found each other amidst the chaos. I pray that the memories you created together live on forever in your heart and mind and your daughters' days. Take care of each other. Thinking of you. - Dawn

on the beach in imperia italy, i listened to a song mark wrote the words to, a song called"fairytale" and it was about a dream come true, I am certain it was about peaches.
she was a kind, adorable, understated, lovely human being.

Dearest Mark
I never met your dearly beloved Melissa but always observed how she made you such a happy and whole person. I only saw her once at the NYC airport saying goodbye to you. By coincidence, I was walking by and it had been years since we had spoken. What struck me was of the immense love and bond you had with each other as you tearfully said your goodbyes. I later found out you were on your way to London as you contacted me soon after to see your show. What a wonderful sight it was for me to witness , the two of you, so in love. It is not often that you find your soulmate in life.
You know I will always be the friend and support that you need at certain times in your life. Again, I am so sorry I never met her properly and had a good laugh with her, as I know we would have.
All my thoughts are constantly on you and yours at this time.
Your very good mate
Mira

Missy was my niece's roommate at Hampshire. We share the same birthday and every year a delicate handmade card would arrive here from Missy. I remember a visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Missy walking through the paths in a pretty pink butterfly dress, worrying about a wounded duck we spied in a pond. She sent me a Christmas card once with her girls' photo enclosed and a message: We are having a blast. Yes, she was happy.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I was good friends with Missy in elementary school and had just heard from her through Facebook a few days before she passed. I was looking forward to reconnecting with her and am sad that we didn't get that chance. I'm glad to see that she continued to live life to it's fullest. She made an impression on all she met.
