Wilson Melvenia Roberts Wilson, 69, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurley and Helen Roberts, and one brother, Preston (Buddy) Roberts. She is survived by her children, Helen Holman and husband, Larry, James Daniels and wife, Sonya, Sheila Camacho and husband, Lucio, Roy Wilson Jr. and wife, Karen, Julia Wood; grandchildren, Anna, Brittany, Crystal, Rocky, Laurel, Landon, Luca, Kenny, Amber, Nicole, Kristina, Eddie, Bobby and Jacob; and two great-grandchildren, Cason and Shyanne. More than 300 foster children also survive. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Steve Hutton and the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial followed in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
