Dear Peggy, Rex, Jillbette, & Family,
We will always remember the last of our original Park City Five. We loved being a part of his Big 90th Birthday Celebration, too. What an AWESOME legacy Mel has left us all! It's an honor to be related to such a wonderful man and his loving family.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you . . .

Dear Peggy , Rex and Jillbette
Mel was a great guy and will always be in my thoughts when I think of Old Town Park City. I had some great nights sleeping in your bunk house and skiing Snow Park and Park City. I always enjoyed going for a ride in Mel's old Jeep.

Peggy, I am so sorry to hear of your husband's death. I never met him, but your marriage was responsible for my taking your place on a blind date with the man who became my husband. You're in my thoughts, Peggy. I know your memories must be happy ones.

Dear Peggy, Rex, and Jillbette: I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a very special man with such a kind heart. I will always have fond memories growing up and playing in the tree house that he built in your backyard in "old" Park City. He will be missed... but, I hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories.

Dear Fletcher family: I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mel. I am
sure he is finding a new place to ski. I knew Mel many years ago. I don't
know how many of the children remember his old car. He was a great
guy and I am sure he will be missed.
My condolences go out to you all. Park City won't be the same.

I only new Mel through my Mom Rosemary Kelley but I had heard of him through my association with the Park City Ski Patrol. A great guy who served his community and loved the mountains.
You will be missed, Mel.

Peggy, Jillbette & Rex,
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. As you know, your husband and father was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew him. I personally loved attenting a PCHS football game with him. Sitting next to him was the best because he would always have an unliminted amount of Snickers in his coat.God bless you Mel.....
