We are so fortunate to have had shared laughs, companionship, and friendship with the Mingas. We treasure those memories and our grateful. Melvin was a compassionate man, and a shinning example of a gentle and loving husband to his "Babe" Maggie. Miss you my friend.

I am deeply sadden to learn of Melvins ( Ole Man to me) passing! I shall never forget him and will always remember the good times our families had camping together. Such fond memories. I just want Maggie, Michael, Timmy and Todd to know that even though our paths grew apart that each and every one of you have a place in my heart and never will be forgotten. It's with great sadness that we heard of Melvin's passing. Melvin and Maggie were great friends of ours. We became great fiends when we lived in Rescue, VA. Our memories of the go a long way back. We love them as if they were "family". We have lived away from Rescue since 1971 and only returned occasionally. Our hearts go out to Maggie and all of the boys and their family. May God bless everyone at this time.

My Dearest Maggie & Family. Although I visited with Mel & Maggie only once a year, every February , during my annual visit to Daughter Amy & son-in-law Daryl, we became close friends. Mel & Maggie were a "classy couple". I shall cherish my visit with them this past Feb. and stopping to talk with Mel & his dog in their driveway . Sincere sympathy to the Minga family from Western Pennsylvania.
