MERLE V.
Of Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, March 26, 2002. He was employed for 40 years by the Nationwide Insurance Company in Pittsburgh and married 60 years to the former Pauline O'Connor. He is survived by three daughters, Diana Palmer (wife of Pat Palmer) of Pgh., Debra Lamb (wife of Brian Lamb) of Boston, MA, and Beth Russell (wife of Bob Russell) of CA. Beth and Bob have no children, but are both financial analysts. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two of which are attorneys, one is in marketing and one is a senior in high school. His remains will be in the columbarium in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, FL. Prayers were given by Father Jacob.
