Dr. Merlin Bowers Budd

I'll never forget Dr Budd's love of the English language and how he would cringe if anyone massacred it by ending a sentence with a preposition . It was an honor to be able to say I worked with him.

I will always recall he did the most no nonsense spinal I had ever seen. That was in 80-87. My memories of working with him on call are just like yesterday to me

I WAS VERY HONORED TO HAVE KNOWN AND WORKED WITH DR. BUDD FOR MANY YEARS ALSO I CONSIDERED HIM A FRIEND AND TRUE GENTLEMAN. THEY DON`T MAKE THEM LIKE HIM ANYMORE. MAY GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY

I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Budd.The department was in good hands when he was there. He called me "Old Timer" even though I was several years younger.

My memory of seeing Dr. Budd "saunter" in to start a surgical case at Decatur Memorial Hospital, and the knowledge that everything was going to be o.k., will stay with me always. I'm glad I got to work with him.

Doc's humor, attitude, skills, and friendship were valued parts of my father's life. I always enjoyed being together with them. He is missed ... and remembered.

I'm very sorry to hear of Dr. Budd's passing. He'll be remembered fondly.

Have many great memories of time spent with Fred,Judy and the Budd group.My sympathy to Mrs Budd and the entire Budd family.

I was very sorry to hear of Doc's passing. He was a great friend to my dad (Bill Lewis)!
