Not sure what to say?

From the children of Dianne Williams - Betty Lou, although my mother hasn't been in touch with you - I know she would want you to know how sorry she is for your loss. I recall that he help our family many, many times. Please take care and know that I remember the many times you visited our home in Minnetonka - for the Ladies Club night.

Betty and Family-
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Merlin for the last 7 years at the Minneapolis Chapel. The word that best describes him to me is "class".
He was kind, professional and we all did love his stories.
He took the time to greet all of us in the morning and have a chat.
We also all knew he wasnt available on Fridays because he had to take Betty for her hair appointment.
I am truly going to miss him.

Betty, As you know Merlin was always nothing but 100% gentleman. From the first day I met him two weeks shy of 10 years, was the only one at that time to approach the new girl and lead her in the right direction rather than point out mistakes. So kind and gentle, a man without flaws truly has found his way home. I am glad his illness came and went without prolonged suffering. I will miss him greatly and especially his story about the first and last time in which he gave you funeral flowers. Betty he would want you to have heart shaped waffles just one more time, everytime you two made that trip that was his favorite part, reliving the first time the two of you enjoyed them. I know you must have so many memories, and now they are a treasue. God love you Betty as well as he loves Merlin.

I am a blessed man to have known such a gentleman as Merlin. When watching and working with Merlin I learned there was no room for error and there never was as long as you were prepared.Merlin had a trunk full of everything you could possibly need for a Funeral service, once again always be prepared.Merlin will be missed by many but what a gift it was for me to have known him.

Betty, Lynn and family,

I am so sorry to hear about Merlin, What a great guy! Always gave me hugs on Sunday mornings at church when I was able to get there. I won't be at church tomorrow but will try to get to the service on Tuesday.
