Meryl Liner

Liner, Meryl Age 81 of St. Louis Park, formerly of Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, IL, passed away May 14, 2010. Meryl was born and raised in Chicago, and raised her family in Wilmette, IL. When Meryl and Daniel moved to L.A., Meryl went to work for Mitchell Silberberg and Knupp, a prestigious entertainment law firm. Meryl was the regional president of the Women's American ORT, was very involved in the local chapter of B'nai B'rith, sang in a group called the Melody Mavens, and spent lots of time with her grandchildren who lived in California. Meryl's overwhelming love, and dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren was the most important thing in her life, and will continue to be her legacy. Meryl is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bessie Bass, and son Joel Liner. Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Daniel; beloved children, Ellen Lasner (Ron), Ron Liner (Debbie); adored grandchildren, Emily and Joey Lasner, Brendon and Rachel Liner, Sara and Jaci Linsk; sister, Elise Lewis; brother, Ed Bass (Eleanor). Graveside service MONDAY, 2:30PM, ADATH YESHURUN CEMETERY, 56th and France Ave., Edina. Memorials preferred to Women's American ORT or donor's choice.
