Toni I want to thank you for giving me the greatest gift possible..Dan. you have taught me many lessons over the years about spirituality and perserverance through your personal suffering and pain and ultimately becoming totally dependent on others. I never saw you complain as you endured the ultimate sacrifice of independence. I will miss our fun conversations and your great sense of humor. I hope you are laughing, running and playing and eating all the ice cream you want. Love Robin

Dear Mom,

Though very saddened by your passing I remember the great times and your influence on my life. I remember all the talks we had when you were cooking and I was in the dining room chatting with you. The fun times at Fairfax Lake Park, playing kickball, baseball, and football in the West's yard were the best. And I will never forget sledding into the night on Woodmoor Lane in McLean. You taught me cooking, (especially fish) gardening, and helping me choose a career path. I became a RN as you did and it has been a fulfilling second career. I love you mom. Rest in peace. I will pray for your soul daily. Love Tom.
