March 21, 1923 - January 16, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Metro "Gido Mac" Moholitny, of Edmonton, at the age of 89.
He will be remembered by his son, Ken (Hilda) Moholitny; granddaughters, Kendall (Tony Cioni) Moholitny, Heather (Jon) Romalo and Kristy Lee Brown; great-granddaughter, Cleo Cioni; great-grandsons, Nico Cioni, Alex and Matt Romalo; brothers, Bill (Olga) Mnoholitny and Mike Moholitny; other relatives and numerous friends.
Predeceased by his wife, Lydia; son, Larry Brown; brother, Nick; and sisters, Polly, Vera, Mary and Doris; and his parents, John and Elena Mnoholitny.
Funeral Service on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, with Reverend Stuart Jackson officiating.
Donations to the Edmonton Humane Society (SPCA), 13620 - 163 Street N.W., Edmonton, AB T5V 0B2.

Uncle, you always had a fresh cup of coffee and a twinkle in your eye waiting for me when I would visit. Talking about dogs and cars. You always asked "and how is Vicky doing, tell her I said hello". Uncle now it is my turn ... when you see my mom in Heaven can you tell her I said "Hi, Mom". I'll miss you Uncle Mac.

Ken, Hilda, Kendall and Heather, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our sincere sympathy to Ken, Hilda and family. Uncle Mac was a very special & unique person. We enjoyed his visits when we lived in Edmonton. I met Mac when I came to the "old" depot 5 in 1999. He was always so friendly, cheerful, funny and made me feel like I'd known him forever the first time I met him. I will miss him very much and am honored to have met him.
