You have been in my heart and prayers ever since I learned of your loss. My deepest condolences.

Though my contact with Mia was only a few months and entailed getting to know her during the application and interview process for the Brooklyn VA, it was clear to me that she was an exceptional candidate and person. She came across as the consummate professional. She was smart, very talented, and clearly had a deep-seated passion for helping others through psychotherapy. She was ranked very highly for our internship match. I was so happy when I had learned that we had got her and I looked forward to working with her. And now, I am just so sad.

There are moments in our life when we learn of something tragic but yet cannot fathom that it is true. I have felt such sadness and disbelief since learning of your loss. I know your entire family is feeling the loss of your beautiful and special daughter, Mia. It has been a long time since we have seen or spoke to each other. However I never forget my Ursuline family. Please know I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. May all of your memories take you through this difficult time. When I learned of Mia's passing my thoughts went right to her parents. It is unnatural for a child to go before us. God will give you strength to move forward.

Unfortunately I read the obituaries afer losing my mother at an early age. When I saw the Fraser name I thought it must be your mother, which would be very sad, but expected. I was so shocked to see it was your dear young daughter.
There is nothing anyone can say to lessen the disbelief and grief after a beloved parent or child passes.
What is interesting is that my mother is now with and within me just as much as before if not more. I dream of her regularly. Just the other night we had a great conversation.
I hope your dear daughter will be with you and your family in the same way. It is comforting to know they will visit and that they are okay.

I wanted to express my sympathies as I know your hearts are crushed.

You were a terrific person to work with that was so fair minded and respectful.

Our family is so saddened by the news of Mia's passing. We send our thoughts and prayers to her family as we can not imagine the pain they are enduring. Mia spent so much time in our home and lives when she was good friends with our oldest daughter Laura. She always always had that beautiful smile and giggle that truly did make us want to be in her presence. We are even more sad that we did not stay in touch with her wonderful family. Mia looks so much like her mom when I first met her at Ursuline Academy in 1988. Our girls were just 5 and I can still see their beautiful happy faces in school. Mia and I only spent a short time in our adolescence together--shortly lived but never forgotten -- can I only remember such an elegant, loving and inclusive soul as she. I remember I always thought how beautiful she was and how I wished I had her golden locks, her loving smile and -truthfully- her inclusiveness.
