In memory of
Jack and Beverley Ortego
May 14, 2024
The Jack Ortego family loves Micah (present tense). He spent alot of time at our house in his last years of high school and the next year or so. Micah's favorite food? Ketchup! Favorite order at Las Palmas? He didn't have one! He'd eat the free chips and salsa, then anything left on your plate! We laughed alot and we talked of serious things. God-talk much of the time back then. I missed him at my table when we lost touch for a few years, but then connected again on Messenger for a bit after we moved from Baton Rouge. I loved that boy. Right now, he's gazing in awe at his Heavenly Father and Jesus, realizing the fight was worth it. And...he's probably making them laugh. He's home. Much love to Randy, Debbie, Mandie, & Sharon

All I had to do was make eye contact across the room and he usually would bust out laughing. His infectious laugh would get me every time.
The love and closeness our class of '01 had was something truly special, even throughout a lifetime. Micah did his part to brighten my day, every Monday in school and even years after. Much love my dear friend. I'll see you in Paradise.

Debbie, Micah sounds like he was such a blessing to have in your family. I am so sorry for you and Randy´s loss. I am praying for you and the family. Thank you for telling me about Christian Life Fellowship in the ?early 80´s. I never left the property. (I worked at a nursing home you used to visit.)
