Michael John Adams BRISTOL, Tenn. Michael John Adams, age 74, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Wellmont Hospice House. He was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Papillion, Neb. Mi chael was an Industrial engineer and retired from Continental Can Corporation after 33 years of service and, more recently, worked for King Pharmaceuticals. Michael was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Marines. He was of the Roman Catholic faith. Michael enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and traveling, having traveled all over the world. Survivors include: wife, Solange Adams; daughters, Judy Dobbs, Kathie Adams, Solange Michelle Adams; sons, Michael John Adams II, Christopher Adams, Joseph Adams, Hugo Adams and Michael John Adams III; eight grandchildren; sister, Patricia Moore. Funeral Mass for Mr. Adams will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at 2 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with Rev. Timothy Keeney officiating.
