So very sad to hear of the passing of my friend, Mike. He was, at times, larger than life, and yet always so grounded and down to earth. He laughed easily and often. He always shared what he had freely, and made you want to do the same. He was humble, and loyal, and he always seemed to project a positive vibe that was truly infectious. I never met anyone that didn't like him, and I honestly cannot remember spending time with him that was not all good.
So many fond memories...kings of our domain growing up in CPA; learning how to live on our own in Boston; high times in CO; flying out to Cali with nothing but a backpack and a tent to see the Dead; and golf, of course...man we killed it in Vegas.
Reno was an aficionado of life, always living it to the fullest, and he will be missed.
See you on the other side my friend.

Mike was all love. I'm trying not to be sad because my good friend would not like that.

Mike would pay attention. He was right with the people around him and he made people want to be around him. If you wanted to know where Mike was you only needed to look for the commotion. Mike had a wide mouthed laugh that would burst from him and fill a room. he had a loving and raging heart.
One of my earliest memories of Mike was in High School gym class. We were playing a game of ultimate frisbee in the high school gym. Mike knew something about frisbee. We were all throwing in the traditional underhand way until Mike got the frisbee. He turned his wrist over and flicked the frisbee the length of the floor. It was all long ball after that. Mike was a game changer. He set the rules and if you could keep up you would have a ball.
It is true that there is much that I could learn from his life. fierce loyalty to family and friends. Passion for life and a ability to bring out the life of the people around him. Mike could be with your struggle and celebrate your victories.
I thank everyone who had the guts to speak at the memorial service. It was a beautiful memorial. Thanks to Donny for your strength in leading the memorial and the love you shared for your brother. You held up your end and Mike would be proud.
I am lucky to have known Mike. He will be missed. All my prayers with Mikes family

Mike "Vinny" will be sorely missed by many. A golf aficionado, who lived every day to the fullest. Mike cherished time with his friends and always looked forward to hanging out and telling jokes and golf stories. Very devastated to hear of his passing. Rest in peace Mike..
