Mike and I go way back to Marshall School days, riding our stingrays with the boys, outracing the park cops and having a good time of it. Mike was always good for a card game at Coops even if we took his money most times--heck I ususally lost my shirt! Mikes big grin and his other favorite saying--why certainy! will be how I remember him. Living away from the Bay Area for 25 years now, its hard to keep up with all my good friends, but I know that The Face would always be there for us. I will miss you Mike, God speed, The Commander.

My deepest condolences to Mike's family and friends. I hadn't seen Mike in many years, but he was in scouting and high school with my brother Barr and me and he was always a solid all-around good guy with a great sense of humor. A friend to all, he will be missed but not forgotten.

Michael, Thanks for the great memories. When I'm riding a part of you will always be with me. My best to Katie, Sean and Judy! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Michael was a good first mate! Happy sailing! Captain Bob
