Michael was my older brother when I was a child. My only memories of him are joyful ones. I loved him immensely. He was a strong presence, playful and fun, my first exposure to the exciting possibilities of childhood and being a teenager. He shared with me my future interests in music, Dragon Ball Z, Karate and Xbox, and he joined me on occasion at soccer practice. He was caring and protective and looked out for Emily and me.
Michael was one of my earliest role models. I was so proud that he was my cousin, and I´m still proud. I love him. My thoughts and prayers to you Uncle Gregg and Aunt Doll, I love you both. The Berkeley family always felt like home.

I will always remember Michael as clever, energetic, funny, generous, joyful, kind, patient and protective. In my heart he is forever young. Aunt Pat (Uncle John, Emily & Matthew)

Like a candle in the wind, you were with us, then no more. The memories are many, Yosemite, Laguna Beach, pillow fights, you Emily and Matthew enjoying each others company, pool parties, Kovars, Bayside Christmas eve services . . . so many memories that will be cherished by our family. Thoughts and prayers of comfort and solace to all those who loved you and miss you dearly.

Amy and I are so sorry for your loss. I can still remember our epic day at the Miramar Air Show when Michael and our son Casey were little boys enjoying each others company as "besties" for the day and just being boys around cool airplanes! RIP

From when we met to now
We have gone through so much
You always said
" we found love in a hopeless place of darkness"
From that place of hopelessness to our
Dog Lola,
To our daughter suzannah
And the recent memories with you
You walked one day 7 miles
Just to say " I love my beautiful girls"
You were always the handsome guy at my door
With two dozen red roses
This most recent time with you
You said
You´d put a ring on my finger but technically you did
Years ago
We told everyone we were married
Even in our struggles
You remained close in my heart
You were so happy lately,
Happy to be with your family
Making moves and looking forward to so many things
You loved your daughter so much you were a natural dad
And impressed me so much
We were so lucky to have you in the time we did
I will keep your name alive to your daughter who looks just like you
And remember all the good things
I wish you were here with us
Rest in peace
To bars
From babe .
