Michael Blakey Obituary
BLAKEY MICHAEL (MIKE) 6th March, suddenly in hospital,
aged 72 years.
Devoted husband of Yvonne, much loved and proud father of Andrew, Helen and Rachel, doting grandad of Mikey and Finlay.
Service at the Harrogate Crematorium on Monday 15th March at 10.20.am. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be given to the Parkinson Disease Society. A plate will be available at the service.

Michael was the kindest, most thoughtful, caring person; people meant so much more than "things". His jokes weren't always the best but the way he told them made everyone smile.

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. I am told it gets easier but I find it gets harder. Uncle Derrick has also passed now so that's the three of you with Peter. I miss you as ever and hope you hear me when I talk to/with you.

To my gorgeous daddy
Happy Valentine's Day daddy. We love and miss you more than ever.
Kira is growing big and strong and we talk to her about her amazing grandpa.

Grandpa
Dear grandpa on Father's Day,
I have now started eating proper food and my favourite things are cheese and peas. I can now roll over, although sometimes I get stuck and a grown up has to help me roll back again. I am also sitting up all by myself. I really am a big girl now. I wish you were here grandpa so that we could have a cuddle.
