Michael Brodbeck Obituary
Born in York, son of Barbara Kline Brodbeck and the late Thomas Brodbeck, he was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed playing video games and loved music. He was an amazing father and husband. He was employed by the Muscular Tissue Foundation.
Also surviving are a son, Lucas; and a sister, Melissa Brodbeck, York.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn, with the Rev. Arthur Davis officiating. Interment, Scott Valley Cemetery, Montdale.
Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made for his son, the Lucus Brodbeck Foundation, NET Federal Credit Union, 1444 E. Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant, PA.

Sad to hear about the loss of Michael, we never met in person only online playing PS4 games. I knew him for a short period of time, but he was a very funny guy and interesting to talk to. I know that he was a very happy father and husband who was always up doing something, working or deep into his video games. May he Rest In Peace and his family find their place of solace.

Lindsay and Lucas you both are in my prayers. Michael was a friend and I enjoyed his Face book entries concerning Lucas. I had the pleasure of sitting with you both at the MTF Christmas Party a couple of years ago. My deepest condolence to you and your family at this time of sorrow. May God give you strength in your hour of need.

I have known Mike all my life. He was my best friend and still is. Growing up from children to adults has been my life's honor. He really was an amazing man. He always had a plan and stuck with it. We have had countless friendly competitions on video games and I will cherish them all. This guy really was a special friend and the wound will never heal. I pray for your wife and son Mike. God took you way to soon my friend and we will meet again.
