Mr. Mike.. Im sad to say that I just learned of your passing. I really enjoyed you as a teacher and as a human. You made me think about alot and humbled a cocky teen.
Im usually great with words but im pretty bummed out to discover the news.

My condolences to the Brust Family. I was sad to hear of Michael's passing. He and I worked together for a few years at Fred Moore High.

Mike you were an amazing human being, and a great teacher. I often talk to my daughter about the teacher who meant the most to me and you were one of them. You will be missed.

I loved Mike he was played a huge role in my recovery

Mike, The only teacher I ever called by his first name. We shared some great times and laughs in class. We use to sit, talk and crack up about one of the dumbest, driest sence of humor movies there was, Stuart saves his Family. Not Exactly an Oscar winner, but we both loved that movie. Mike inspired me to go back to school later in my life. We lost touch over the years as people tend to do, but he made a huge impact on me that will never be forgotten. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace Mr. Brust.

Michelle, as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine with grief in your heart, I hope you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of your family and many friends. I will miss Mike so much. He really showed me how it works and loved seeing him EVERY morning. I have hung on to so many of his wise words and quirky sense of humor. I'm so grateful to know, love and learn from him.

Rest In Peace uncle Mike. Your compassion for others, witty humor, beautiful passion for deep conversation, and spunky political debate sum up the sweet and unique qualities that made you uniquely you. Thank you for always making me feel special during the all too few conversations that we shared. You will be missed and always loved. Say hi to my Dad up in heaven. God bless
