Michael Bukowski

Michael Wayne Bukowski, 69 of Missouri City, TX, passed away on December 15, 2024 peacefully at his home.

Mike dedicated his life to service, first as a proud member of the United States Air Force, where he served for 20 years before retiring with honor. Following his military career, Mike continued to serve his community as an Officer with the Missouri City Police Department, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and residents alike.

Born on June 10, 1955 in Santa Ana, CA, Mike was known for his helpful spirit, caring heart and charming personality.

Mike is survived by his loving children: Jeremy and wife Melissa Bukowski, Benjamin Bukowski, Jason and wife Meg Bukowski, Kendall and husband Darryl Zornes, Michael and wife Alyssa Gutierrez, and Daniel Gutierrez. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Brittany, Timothy, Savannah, Daphne, Alejandro, Alora, Corbin, Aiden, Austin, Darryl, Jonah, Lenora and Mikayla who were a constant source of pride and joy. Mike is further survived by his mother, Jackie Parr, and siblings, Jimmy Jr, Cindy and Michelle. He was predeceased by his father, James E. Bukowski Sr. and sister, Karen.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 2 from 4pm-8pm. A 2nd visitation will be held January 3rd from 10-11am, immediately before the funeral. His commital service will be at 2:15 at the Houston National Cemetery. Visitation and funeral will be held at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 S. Kirkwood Rd., Stafford, TX. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Mike's life and legacy

Mike's steadfast service, love, and kindness will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
