My heartfelt condolences to David Kristen, and all who loved Mike.

I am still in a state of disbelief as we all try to deal with losing Mickey so soon after losing Bob. Mikey was so much like his father - smart, hard-working, dedicated to his family and friends, and loaded with common sense. I learned so much about life from both of them. Uncle Bob helped my family build our house in Clarence and the families gathered there most weekends of the 11 years we lived there. Mikey and I reminisced about our childhoods there (and in Kenmore) constantly. He and Sue graciously hosted family reunions in Youngstown, which we had to pause because of the pandemic - we were actively planning for 2023. In my life, he was one of a handful of people who I always wished I could spend more time with. I will never forget the great times we had and the plans we had for the future.

So shocked and saddened by this. Mike was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He was always so caring and thoughtful to my mom and dad. He would buy apples for my mom to bake him a pie. His loss will be felt immensely in the neighborhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. He was a very proud father and Pappa. He truly was a family oriented man. His family was everything to him. May you all find solace in remembering how he loved you all.

So sorry to hear this news. Mike and I started working together in 2000. Through the years he called me Queen and I called him My Loyal Subject. He was the best. My biggest cheerleader. Loved him. He has a special place in my heart forever. Prayers to his family.
