Michael Cardozo Obituary
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy C. Cardozo, and his adoring daughters Hedy Cardozo (Michael Rosenblut) and Sheryl Cardozo (Adi Diner).
He was an engaged and loving grandfather to Lucy, Josh, and Ellie. In addition, Michael was a devoted brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin, and a respected colleague, mentor, and friend.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th at 11:00 AM at Central Synagogue, 652 Lexington Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Legal Outreach (https://legaloutreach.org), The Fund for Modern Courts (https://moderncourts.org), or a charity of your choosing.
Michael's legacy of optimism, energy, and passion for justice will be remembered by all who knew him.

Condolences and deepest sympathy to Michael´s family and loved ones. I chaired the Commission on Ethic and Lobbying in government for two years and had the benefit of Michael´s collegiality and sage advice. The city, state and nation are the better for his service.
