I enjoyed watching the The Mod Squad an explosive narrative in that time. My condolences to the Cole family may you find comfort from the God of comfort who gives us a hope and a future.

i loved the Mod Squad and remember being too young to stay up and watch the early episodes. My older brother and sister would be just getting ready to watch the weekly episode and I would have to go to bed. Pete was the coolest dude and an excellent actor. I own all five seasons on DVD and have been binge watching all the episodes with my wife. I own the gum card set, the Mercury woodie model car kit , some comics and the Viewmaster set. Rest in peace Michael

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael at 17 years old (1970) at a press conference along with my BFF, Debbie. My Dad had arranged the meeting... it was a highlight of my life. I met him (and Shelley) again a few years ago and also attended his book signing at Paramount Studios. I´m glad that I got to know that my early-life heart-throb was as nice and funny as I´d hope he´d be. RIP beautiful soul Michael. You made a great impact and will forever be remembered and missed. My friend from afar, you had a special way about you felt by many including myself. We spoke a few times and within minutes you were like someone I'd known for years. Laughing, witty moments you recalled from your days on the MS or just in life. You had a special way to engage with others. I know life wasn't always easy. That's probably why you became the great man you were before leaving us. It's not the years or days we recall in life, it's the moments. I'm so sorry to hear about Michael's passing. A huge Mod Squad fan. I have several movies on DVD'S that he played the lead in. A member of his Facebook fan page for years, Shelley & Michael participated frequently. He has left us many wonderful memories. My deepest condolences to Shelley, Jennifer & the rest of his family. May he rest in Paradise.

I remember the first time I watched the mod squad I fell in love with Michael. Most teens probably did.I never missed an episode. Now I have the collection. I just watched the return of the mod squad the other day. I had big tears in my eyes when I seen him I´m so glad he found happiness with his wife Shelly. My sincere condolences to the Cole family and friends. I wish that I could have met him. I would have loved to get an autograph picture of him. I felt like I´ve known him all my life. I wish I had more time with you my friend but we sure enjoyed the time we had together. I will remember your love and grace, especially where Kacie and Shannon are concerned. I will treasure the memories of you and Mark laughing together. I will forever hold in my heart the smiles you gave me and the times I made you giggle. Thanks Michael for being part of my childhood.....

Even though I did not know Michael personally, I feel I knew him. I fell in love with him when I was 9 years old when I watched The Mod Squad. I have a whole scrapbook of Michael pictures and also of the whole cast. When I joined the Girl Scouts I only lasted one night as the meetings were on Tuesday nights. This was in the days of no VCR´s and Tuesdays were the same night as the Mod Squad. There was no way I was going to miss Pete Cochran.... Around the same time there was a stray dog who hung around our house that I used to feed. I named him Pete.... I have so many fond memories of Michael Cole. I want to express my sympathy to his wife Shelley and his other family members. Michael will always be in my heart..

I grew up with Michael in Madison, Wisconsin. His older brother, Ted was my best friend. Michael's teen years were a bit on the wild side. Always a really good guy, he shocked his Madison Community when he left town for Las Vegas. "Tending bar," we heard. His appearance as Pete Cochran on Mod Squad blew us away. Because of my close relationship with Ted & Val Cole, I monitored Michael's acting career from a distance.

Linked up with Michael at his "I Played The White Guy" book signing in Madison a few years ago. We had a lengthy, lovely chat. His warm thoughts about Madison were very evident. Just last April, I was so very surprised and pleased to receive an unexpected call from Michael. We were able to share memories of his time and thoughts about Madison.

I was very aware of the key role his wife Shelley played in his life. A solid, happy marriage was so very evident. Saddened to learn of his passing last Tuesday. Val had made me aware of his failing health. Michael was a great, talented, guy.

Michael Cole was a great actor and "The Mod Squad" was an amazing show. One of the best that I watched growing up. There was nothing else like it. Sincere condolences to the Cole family, May God be with you in your time of loss.

I was shocked to hear that Michael Cole passed away. I was a true fan of The Mod Squad and I had a huge crush on him. He was such a great actor. My condolences to his family.

As a teenager, I just HAD to watch Mod Squad. That was back when most homes had only 1 TV and so you had to fight for your shows.

I had a crush on him, as I am sure most teenage girls did! He was the main reason I watched the show.

We have now lost all three. May they all Rest in Peace! They were all loved!

I feel like I lost a friend, I really do. My idol. Still shocked of Michael´s passing. He called Dallas another home of his because of so many visits here. He even took the time out of his busy work schedule and replied to a long letter that I sent to him when he was in the DFW area back in the mid 70´s. This really hurts big time. Rest in peace. You´re now with Tige, Clarence and Peggy. Sending my deepest condolences to his family on their tremendous loss

A great actor that so many came to know and love from his roles on TV. "The Mod Squad" was a favorite of mine. Sincere condolences to the Cole family, May God be with you all to give comfort and strength in your time of loss.
