Love and kindness were the first thoughts that came to mind when I contemplated what to share here. When those are the beginning, you know this was a great man! Add to that joy, humor, humility, care, honesty, perseverance, unselfishness, etc., and you get an idea of the impact Mike had on my life, and all those he came in contact with. He was loved and cared for, and is greatly missed. My condolences to all!
Peace,
John Mark

Mike was a beautiful and courageous soul.
I would see him, time and time again, triumph over his fear.
A power of example, to be sure.
Easy does it, my friend

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin Michael.
He was a gentleman that will be missed. I will especially miss seeing him in Montauk or his calls/texts asking me for advice on mechanical issues he would come across. Rest in peace Michael.

Just so very sad to see this. Michael was a man filled with courage & perseverance. He joins his dad and the Craine family. He was loved & dearly loved his grandmother Freda. They welcomed him into eternal love

I am so surprised that Mike transferred to another plane of existence and may he be at peace. When I would arrive montauk from New York and would see Mike, his warm hello and "how are you" were so authentic that I settled down in my body.
I will miss you in many ways that I know and many ways that I didn´t realize were here. Safe travels and lots of love, Maggie keogh

Michael, Thank you so much for your openness, support and friendship over these many years. Also, for giving me the nick name "Irish" and our many conversations before and after our gatherings. My tear ducts are doing more than simmering. I miss you so much.
Rest, my dear friend, rest. Love, IPad Mike, "Irish"

Michael was one of the most humble people I ever knew. He was very intuitive, generous and always had something positive to say. I am sending love and prayers to Michael´s family and friends. Michael, you will be missed greatly!

I only recently met Mike, yet he had a beautiful aura around him - one that I felt even on our zoom squares. He touched my heart even from afar. Prayers for healing, love, warmth and comfort to all the lives he touched and those that shall miss him deeply.

Mike was always there to help with photographing many of the biggest East End fundraisers .... His shots from Ladles of Love ( to benefit the East End Food Pantry Network) Dennis Craine Benefit Concert (Paul Simon, Garland Jeffries, Susan Vega, Phoebe Sno), Ladles of Love at Stephen Talkhouse (East Hampton Food Pantry).. and a number of private events, hold special moments in time for me....

To the family:
Mike was a wonderful contribution to our meetings and then to our lives. He attended a lot of meetings, initially shy to share but finally felt at home and opened his heart for all to see. Many times he ended with, "I don´t know what I just said...", but we all did. He was precious! God bless.
