Michael "Theodore Brown" Dantzler

Michael "Theodore Brown" Dantzler, aged 62, passed away on July 6, 2024, in Summerville, SC. Born on November 11, 1961, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a lifelong resident of the area and a cherished member of the community.

Michael attended Summerville High School and built a respected career in carpentry and restaurant hospitality. His skills and dedication to his craft were well known, and he took pride in every project and service he provided.

An avid fisherman, Michael found peace and joy in being near water. His hobbies brought him closer to nature and provided cherished moments with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his loving life partner Ms Tracey Jamison, Loving daughters, Markita (Michael) Sithole and Chiquita Frazier; five grandchildren, Briana Frazier, Alexas Frazier, Cairo Sithole, Londyn Sithole and Laiyla Smith; Two sisters, Tanya Willis and Elaine (Ken) Smalls; One brother Calvin Brown; A host of nieces and nephews and 2 aunts Linda (Rodney) Bacote and Cathy (William) Matthews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ms Lucille Brown Lewis, his mother Ms Thomasener Dantzler, 1 brother Alonzo Dantzler jr and his nephew, Brian Smalls.

Michael's life was a testament to his resilience, kindness, and the deep bonds he formed. He loved to joke and laugh. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
