Sunny & Jenny, The one thing I remember most about Mike while working with him in the Street Dept. of Colonial (KeySpan) was his infectious smile. He was such a joy to work with and was missed as soon as he left the department. Jenny, I had no idea you were Mike D's daughter as you smiled that beautiful smile and waited on me every day for my lunch at the Cheese Shop. I should have known by the smile.

Your Dad was one of the most courageous people I ever met and we know he is at peace now.

Mike ,

You were a great person to work with at the Gas Company. We had alot of laughs on jobs. You were always there with a helping hand for anyone you were with. You were great to talk with about anything that was on anyones mind . I'll always remember the days at Otis Air Base replacing gas services and the good times we had laughing so much you couldn't stand up.

You are at peace with God now Mike

Watch over us at work.

To my brother Mike,

One night while I was visiting Mike at the hospital and he was having a really rough night, he told me two things..That HE HAD A GOOD RUN..and ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES..Just a few simple words he spelled out on his plexi- glass board that means so much.

Mike was a great man who loved life and his family. He loved to talk and could carry on a conversation with anyone, and always had something interesting to say.

I always looked up to Mike growing up. And I always will...

I will always remember the great times we had growing up....

Sledding in the winter when MOM would make you take me along. Driving your Triumph motorcycle around the neighborhood when I was about 12. I would drive and you would be on back using your legs to hold the bike up when we came to a stop.

The cold nights of riding on the back of your bike. I would never complain because I was with you.

You thumbing up from the cape when you were in the Air Force because your dune buggy(called Rabozo)wouldn't make the long trip. And then thumbing back down with you with just the shirts on our backs, for a few unforgettable days of sleeping in stables, and driving for miles and miles on the beautiful beaches on the Cape...Sorry mom and dad for not telling you about that.

The dirt bike days, with trips to Miles Standish and riding the power lines to the canal.

And the stories go on and on.

You helped mold me into the person I am today, and I thank you.

You changed my life...Whenever I get tired or down or a little achy, or I don't want to do something trivial like cut the lawn. I will just think about you.

How you were so strong and courageous, never complaining, and somehow would always give me a smile when I visited you in the hospital.

I would like to thank the staff at Mikes HOME for a year plus at North East Specialty Hospital.. Thank you for your dedication and hard work you performed every day for Mike under your care. There are some very special people there who went above and beyond their regular duties, and our family and Mike especially appreciated it.

In closing,I would just like to say...Mike...We love you and we will never forget you..We will meet again..And...

ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES.

Your brother Paul
