The out pouring of love for my brother at his service reflects my own feelings. Mike's ability to connect with everyone, his friends and family connects us all in some way. Mike's life should be an example of how we should treat each other as human beings. A better world! Corrin kept Mike on track and was the perfect partner to make his life happy, which Mike passed on to us. So Cory, I love you, you were a vital part of Mike's and our Life and will continue to be forever! Lance & Terry Doerr

Corrie,
We are so sorry to hear about Mike. I'm glad we were able to spend the time we did with both of you. I remember when you guys hauled my "dart board" all the way to Forest Lake from Shakopee - what a kind gesture. I know his loss is great for many people. I'm sending you a big hug my friend and know that I will be in touch soon. Take good care for now.

To Mike's family. We were shocked and saddened to learn about Mike's sudden passing. We enjoyed his visit to our cabin in the woods a few years ago. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. His concern for Chris and Marilyn were very much appreciated. Mark & Louise Minkler, Buffalo, MN

Corrie, There are two ways of remembering our loved ones who leave us to start another journey. We either cry over their absence, or smile and remember them though the countless memories we were blessed to have shared with them. Mike was called to his most important job sight of all now. He made a difference and touch the hearts of so many. When I think of him I will cry for awhile at "my" loss of a special and loved friend, but then, smile at the blessings that knowing him has enriched my heart. Mike wouldn't want or expect anything less! He is still now and will always will be Loved. If Mike could, he would say to all of us; Cry for awhile if you must, but make it short, remember me with smiles and laughter for that's how I'll remember you. If you can only remember me with sadness and tears, don't remember me at all. The love Mike and you shared, was strong, private and special, you will always carry that in your heart, and that was also the same love that he carried with him. Mike always told me how much he loved "as he worded it, your little baby face", he wouldn't have wanted to see any tears on your checks, only the smile that he loved so much! So for now, (my little baby faced friend) cry if you must. I will pray that you will be able to find your smile again that Mike loved so much, and find the peace of Heart to help comfort you though this horrible moment in your life. With Love and Respect, Your Friends; Byron, Diana, and family.
