Gray defied the odds to inspire others with his accomplishments and enrich the lives of those around him. The extreme love and support of Abbie, Mike and Riley made Gray's short life on this earth an amazing one. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

It was a privilege to know Gray and to work together with him on access solutions at NC State University. I am so glad that he was in my life. He will be missed. I offer my sincerest condolences to family and friends.

I remember meeting Gray as a baby just before I moved to Los Angeles. I would have no idea at that time all the great accomplishments he would achieve during his short life. How many people he inspired and touched is nothing less brilliant. The pride you must of felt is beautiful. Words always fall short when you experience this enormous loss. Gray was a remarkable young man. I can remember him scaring me when he zoomed down the hill on his wheelchair scooter at St. Gabriel. He achieved so much in his short life. What a loss for your family and our community. My heart goes out to the Dougherty family.
