Michael Douglas

I recently stumbled across some of his posts from the early 2010s and it baffled me. To be hurt with a syndrome at such a young age and trying to untangle it yourself must’ve been so tough on him. Rest in peace.

Michael I am hoping to start a chelation fund in your memory. You made such an impact on me. You will always be remembered as one of the smartest people I've ever known. I'm sorry you had to leave us all so soon. We sure could use your knowledge. I know you fought with everything you had. I'm proud of your efforts. I'll see you on the other side.

Michael used to communicate with me regularly in regards to new ideas and treatments for his (extremely) rare condition. He went through countless different treatments, some which were incredibly advanced, in order to regain some quality of life. Michael also saw many specialists and GPS, and in my opinion Michael developed a knowledge far beyond what they had to offer in that specific area.

Michael suffered for a long time, at such a young age. What he went through and the persistence he showed was inspirational.

Atleast now you are at peace my friend.

I remember Michael & I would speak almost every single day on Facebook... We would talk about life, gym, women & whatever else was on our minds at the time. You were such a determined bloke, so determined to make a name for yourself but illness got to you before you could... You inspire me mate, I hope wherever you are, you finally have found peace.

Michael was formidable in his determination to get better. He was a mighty good man. He is missed and will be remembered by many.

I knew you from our Gerson Therapy support group, but you made a huge impact. You were so desperate to get better and wanted it so bad. I will miss your posts and I hope you are at peace now. We all wish you could have found your cure. Many hugs from across the ocean.

The universe has done itself a great disservice to reclaim your atoms so soon. From what I knew of you, your capacity to achieve was boundless.

You were so loved by so many friends Michael you will always be in our hearts as someone inspirational for the fight you fought for your invisible illness and disability. We know you tried everything within your grasp to get better. Thank you for the research you did, the vlogs you put out there to help others in their health struggles. So sorry to hear of Michael's passing.

I knew MC from our young childhood days of riding bikes, my brother became mates with him in primary school. He use to come over and ride at the farm and show us how to jump higher than we ever thought we could. He was always a little cheeky lad around us and knew how to ride a bike without holding back! We will miss him and its a kick in the guts how fragile we all are. Its a real eye opener to ring mates up and start hanging out again no mater how long its been.

My sincere condolences to the family. He will be greatly missed.

So many of us are heartbroken to hear of Michael's passing. He was so courageous in trying to find ways to heal his body and in sharing important information with others so they could avoid what happened to him. He was an inspiration and he is greatly missed. I was in several online groups with Michael, and we were all very upset and stunned to lose such a smart good person and so young. He was a hard worker trying all he could for his health. I only communicated with him briefly on online posts, but I sure did cry to see him gone. rest in peace.
