God put Mick on my heart today, and I was planning on reaching out since I had moved out of the area. I am so sad for your loss, Mick was a gentle giant and I hope you can find peace knowing he is with the Lord.

To Jon, I will never forget how wonderful it was being "the girl next door" to you and Mick. How wonderful were the days of all of us playing trucks in the dirt, climbing trees and arguing about who's tree to keep the club dues in ( all 27 cents of them) Playing wiffle ball in the back lot (although you guys often wouldn't let me play because I was so awful).Tricker Treating, kick the Can until dark, sled riding,...football games,, basketball games cheerleading etc. I still remember my girlfriends wanting to come to my house to sit on my porch to get a glimpse of you and Micky. All the things that make up a great childhood. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to keep in touch with Mick through the years, but it appears that he was an amazing father. I will always smile when I look back on our time on Wooster Street. Stephanie Haas Gallagher
