Hey "Mr.Portland" , Thank You so Much for Your endearing Friendship, the work and most of all Your words of Solidarity! What I really want to say also, is that I'm sorry that I didn't talk to you that day you called me because I was at a job, but hopefully I will get to see you again my friend. I know and Hope that Chris is as strong as you helped her to be in the days leading up to the day where you met "THE MAN".
GOD BLESS Mike hope to see You again one day.
Ps thank you so much for the flashlight buddy

Katie, Mike, Mary, Liisa and Keith... I am so sorry to hear about "Uncle Mike." He was one of my dad's best friends for decades and he was a prominent figure in our families growing up. I have wonderful memories of him, his smile... how he made us laugh... and will never forget him. My heart goes out to the entire family.

He sounds like a wonderful man I would have enjoyed knowing. My deepest sympathies go out to your family. Keith, as you said to me very recently, your dad will always be there, to watch over you in good and bad times. I hope the sweet memories made over the years will sustain you until you meet again.

My sincere sympathy at the loss of your beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to talk with Mike recently and he spoke of his faith. The beautiful thing about knowing Jesus is that because of our relationship with Him, Mike is in our future and not just in our past. We will see him again. Though we sorrow in his death. we don't sorrow as those who have no hope. We have a great expectation of being with him again. I pray that brings comfort in this time of sadness. May God comfort you with His presence.

I send my deepest sympathies to the family. I know he is resting in God's hands. I knew Mike in high school, Kennedy High School. He was a sweet guy & a friend to all. His smile was contagious. He was a proud father & served his country with pride. God bless his family
