I just became aware of Mike's passing. I had lost touch with Mike over the years, but he had been my roommate in college at Austin Peay and we performed next to each other in the APSU Chamber Singers and the Governor's Own Marching Band. I am so sorry for his family. Mike was a great guy and very talented.

My family's prayers are with Jo and Steve, and Mike's wife and children. Michael Jeffrey and I grew up together and we will always share the SoKno connection.
His gift of music was always evident from the time we were in the Doyle Middle School Choir and the choir at Church Street United Methodist Church.
We were always proud to see him sing in D.C. and represent our nation with powerful musical performances, Beyond that, however, was his compassion for childhood friends whom he always helped.

It has been many years since Mike and I were colleagues in Pershing's Own but the loss of a fellow member of the organization is always saddening. Mike was a tremendous talent, his voice a clarion tone in the Army Chorus. I particularly enjoyed his contributions to the Bluegrass Ensemble. Perhaps it was a hidden facet of his Tennessee roots. Rest in peace, fellow soldier.

Mike and I sand together at Church Street United Methodist Church during the talent show! I will always remember our "Sound of Music" duet! So very sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers lifted for your family. Terri (Roberts) Tucker

Michael was so dear to us at Knollwood Retirement Home as well as NPC. My heart and prayers go out to the family and all who loved him. He was a treasure.

At a loss for words..remember the family trip to Florida...Fishing playing in the Gulf and eating at Red Lobster..forever in our memories...the cousins in Florida will never forget you Mike
