Mikes Friend

December 28, 2012

Saddened to hear of Mike's passing, sincere condolences to the family. He and his wife and brothers worked all Thunder Hockey Games and never asked nothing in return, just to be there. He was a true blue hometown hockey fan, and I can still see him wearing the black and Gold, banging the drum.....RIP Mike

Lanny, Everett and Allen,
I am deeply saddened by the news of Mike's passing and am so sorry for your loss. Mike was a good man, who had a servant's heart and was a friend to everyone.

I enjoyed going to school with him at Robert Moore and FFHS and then later tracking his career at The Times and CFOB, where he did a great job keeping us well-informed.

The Lord has a plan for each of us and though we're sometimes left to question "why", be rest assured that someday all the answers will be made clear to us. For now, rest in the peace that only He can give you and cherish the many good memories of your special brother.

I did not know Michael personally, but I knew his Mom and Dad, his grandparents, and uncles rather well. Through conversations with members of his family, I felt as though I knew him too. I visited with with his brother Everett not long ago in Eveleth. I know he will definitely be missed by his family and his radio family as well.
