I just suddenly googled Dr Geraldi and saw the sad news of his passing. He was our daughters' pediatrician at the Hammocks starting with our first born in 1984. I can still hear him saying each time we left, "Watch out for that crazy weather!" May you rest in peace.

Dr. Geraldi was the best pediatrician. He was my doctor as a child, and then dr to my children. He was always warm and welcoming, and loved the kids. He loved spiderman, and my kids always loved looking around the office. He's definitely still in our memories, and we think about him from time to time. I found this wonderful picture of him, and my son, from march 2014. He was a great man. Thank you Dr. Geraldi for everything.

Spider-Man as he was lovingly called by all his patients was an amazing man and wonderful doctor and will be forever missed. I'm heart-struck that Dr. Geraldi has passed away. I just found out after all these years since we moved overseas through google search. He was one of the best pediatricians out there. He took care of our daughter very well with our visits to his clinic. Dr. Geraldi AKA Spiderman we forever love you and miss you dearly. Our prayers are always with you. Although the news of Dr. Mike passing saddens me so, I am so proud and honored to have known such a caring Doctor and simple man. He was so patient and wonderful while I was raising my 3 children in Kendall in the 90s. I was able to know him at a time when he was strong and passionate about his life's purpose. I am privileged to have known such a great man. He often spoke about his precious wife with a big smile on his face. When I was pregnant with my first child, my OB GYN Dr.Omar Pasalodis told me to meet Dr. Geraldi. When I was waiting for him to enter his office there I was surrounded by pictures on his office walls of many Down Syndrome children. At that moment I thought I was sent to him because my Unborn child may have down syndrome ..... I was waiting to hear doctor Mike tell me this news. But to my surprise the pictures on the walls were simply that of his children, his own children. Ignorant to the fact of the beauty of a down syndrome child I was relieved in knowing that my visit was not because my child had this diagnosis. Today I work as an Occupational Therapist and can appreciate the love and care that I was blind to that day. Yet, that day changed me. Doctor Mike showed the love that he had for all children was incredible and so simple for him. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of this man whom served so many and was able to teach though his love for the children. Thank you Dr. Mike. I will NEVER forget you and your beautiful and contagious smile. With all my heart,

Camille, My condolences to you and your family. So very sorry, for your loss. Doc Mike was the Pediatrician, for my two sons, when we lived in West Kendall, from 1979-1984. I couldn't have found a more caring Doctor. Best Pediatrician my sons ever had. I loved the fact that Doc Mike had separate Sick and Well waiting rooms! I was checking out, at the West Kendall Publix, once, and Doc Mike was behind me, in line. I wondered, to whom, my sons were speaking, they recognized their Doctor! My husband and I vacationed, many times, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, staying in Ellijay, Blairsville, Mineral Bluff and Blue Ridge and making many trips, to Helen. Had I known you were up that way, I would have looked you up. It wasnt until after we had moved from West Kendall, to Naples, that I learned you were Doc Mikes wife. We were connected through Notre Dame Academy. In 1965-66, I was a Freshman, at NDA, with your sister and you were a Senior, with my sister! God Bless You and Doc Mike, for all you have done, in helping those with special needs. Rest In Peace, Dr. Geraldi.

I'm so glad I found this site. Dr. Mike meant the world to us and I wanted his family to know just how much! I will never forget when my first child had a fever at only 3 mos... Dr. Mike called me on a Sunday, on his way to visit the "new" Dolphin Mall with his mom, to see how Joe was doing. He helped through rough times and always had a smile. He even gave my son his card with his personal phone number to call when he needed to talk. Dr. Mike always ended each visit with: Are you traveling? Be careful with this crazy weather. My kids (Alexandra, now 14 and Joe, now 16) took his passing hard. When my son had his braces taken off last month and had to choose retainers, he said: I'm choosing the Spider-Man one... For Dr. Mike ❤ I just read that his last moments were spent in Ellijay. We just spent a week there in a cabin on Huckleberry Lane without knowing!!!!! Much love always...

I was so saddened to read the Miami Herald article my daughter, who was one of Dr Mikes patients as well as her two brothers forwarded to me. Dr Mike was an AWESOME loving, caring dr and all around human being. I first met Dr Mike when he visited my daughter after her birth when the dr i had asked to come didnt show up. Wow how awesome- wish i was going too- maybe someday ill get to take them too- of him until i met him at the hospital after the birth of my daughter also 35 yesrs ago and the dr i had asked to see her didn't show. Dr Mike came into my room and told me every single thing about my daughter, every birthmark, bump, bruise and how long before it should heal, go away completely, fade and honesly not sure he hadn't take the time to count every hair on her head. I was so impreaaed by his attention to my dughter and his absoule joy and excitment of her birth. I decided then he would be my pediatrician, a decision i never regretted. Dr Mike was the most caring incredible loving dr ever, he always returned calls no matter how late or the concern and always provided answers and provided comfort about my concerns. Dr Mike will be missed by many and remembered forever by all the patients and parents and anyone who ever met him. My condolences to his beautiful wife Camille and his daughters and adopted kids. "Dr. G." This is how my 7-year-old daughter refers to this outstanding human being who was her pediatrician since birth. The news of Dr. G's illness and death broke my heart. I first met Dr. G during my pregnancy with my daughter, who had been confirmed to have Down Syndrome. He was an important part of my journey with my special needs child and I will never forget him. I loved how he would refer to his patients as "stinker" and would always tell parents to be mindful of the "crazy weather." I will keep him and his family in my prayers. Rest in peace, Dr. G. So sad and so, so sorry to hear of Dr Geraldi's passing. He took care of me, my sister, and brother when we were little with Dr.Applebaum. And When I got married and had children all 4 of my children were in his care as well. We all LOVED you so much. Our medical insurance changed a few years back and your office didn't take our new insurance. I did everything in my power to get back to you, so you could take care of my children again. I called your office once a month to see if you took my new insurance and every time they said, no. I finally got an insurance that you all took January 2016 and all my cards say Dr. Geraldi. I'm heartbroken. You helped my mom with my sister who had Muscular Dystrophy and she is so grateful and loved you a lot too. THANK YOU DR. GERALDI, WE LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH! Wherever you are, you definitely left your mark on thousands of lives. I will always remember taking my daughters, now 31 and 33, to you as children. What a gem you are!! They loved you, your patience, your gentleness. So much so that the granddaughers also were your patients and they too thought you were the best. They loved to visit Dr. Mike. NOt even sure they realized you were actually a doctor. You had such a way. I remember being sick when I took the kids in for a check up and how you looked at my throat and wrote me an RX. And cheered me up when I was diagonosed with humiliating Crohn's. I wasn't even your patient!!!! Dr Getaldi was the Dr for both my girls. My younger was born 3 months premature. He was a huge help to me with her and all the special things we had to do. The world lost a great man

You were my Dr as a child...I didn't mu ch enjoy the shots but everything else was always fun. You will be missed. Praying for your family as they move into a new stage of grief. My Father passed away in June...to cancer. Losing a parent is hard.

I had the honor of knowing Dr. Mike\spiderman for over thirty years. He was an angel while he was on this earth and I am sure he is now. He will be greatly missed Both as a doctor,friend and person you could always talk too. My heart goes out to His family. May he rest in peace

I wasn't a patient of his but my brother was and every time I went with my parents and brother he always welcomed everyone and made everyone comfortable . He was a great doctor and will be missed by a lot of people . R.I.P

Dr.Geraldi, Mrs.Camille and Renae and Jaclyn are a Sheep Family.On Matthew 25:31-40,Dr.Mike and Mrs.Camille was Parents of Children with Disabilities that Biological Parents unloved and unwanted. They abandoned the Rich Life to Take Care of Unwanted Children and cared for them.The Geraldi's Feed them,received Hospitably,they clothed them(Babies she received from Parents abandoned them wearing only a Diaper,The Geraldis has clothes for the babies),The babies she received as strangers now turned to be part of the family and siblings to Renae and Jaxs.When the children are sick,The Geraldi's take care of them,One of the children has a virus and Nurse Camille supply with Ginger Ale and Crackers while Dr. Geraldi as a doctor exercise muscles and take meds .One thing is not in the scriptures that really breaks my heart when the children call mommy and daddy to them,It made me in tears,like a strong ray of sunshine over the blue ridge mountains to shine up florida beaches.Strong loving family. Matthew 25:31-40 shows me if it front of my face or National Media from 60 minutes with Leslie Stahl to USA TODAY to Geraldo talk show in the 90's.On and Off Camera,The Geraldis show the world included me how they loved and cared of Children with special-needs.Sheep family(True christians)did exactly what it says in the scriptures what a family will go through doing God will, helping their special family. Dr. Geraldi is a Father of the Troop.It's sad to see these children with out a father.He took care of them.I love Florida,Not because of the Beaches or Orlando attractions like Disney World or Sea World.The Geraldi 3 house compound in Miami,I rather be with the children and see love filled the houses of the Geraldis than going to Florida Beaches and Disney or Universal Studios.God called me to florida,went passed the beaches,Orlando attractions,God guided me to this loving family.I rather take my Florida vacation with the week with the Geraldis filled with LOVE than the Beaches and Orlando Attractions.Dr.Geraldi is a real father and a Sheep and a Friend.He will be missed.Sorry about the lose Mrs.Camille,Renae and Jacklyn.God already in the right hand of him as a Sheep(Matthew 25:33) and will take care of him,Miss you Dr.Mike(Spiderman).Good Sheep.

Doc. Michael Geraldi aka Dr. Spiderman, was a truly hero for my family... Always care about Anders, from day one!! ❤ The world has lost a wonderful man a hero and a human being.
