I just seen Judge Getty passed a couple of years ago... My condolences to the Getty family and friends.... I owe my life to Judge Getty in 1992 he could have sentence me to life in prison, because of my many convictions but he didn't he sentence me to 28 years in the DOC.... I been home 17 years now living the life Judge Getty said I should be living.... R.I.P. Judge Getty and May God be please with you...

Dear Getty Family,
My name is Eve Weinberg and I have worked for TASC since 1986. I just saw that Judge Getty passed away in November, and I wanted to reach out to you all.
Judge Getty played a central role in my career. As a young ( 20 something), newly minted counselor, Judge Getty gave me the opportunity to teach with him (and Bobby Matuzak) at the National Judicial College. Together, the three of us traveled to Reno and taught that class many times over several years. I will never know what gave him that faith in me as a youngster. But, I am forever grateful for his confidence and counsel.
He spoke of all of you often and always with love and pride.
My deep condolences,
Eve Weinberg

I knew Mike latter in life. He was a member of our "gang" that met every Friday for lunch. We all enjoyed his pearls of wisdom and will miss him when we resume our "gang" lunch meetings. Love to all of his family.
