Michael Gibbs Obituary
Rev. Artie Plummer officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallion, Ala. with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at the funeral home and also 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the church the day of the service.
He was preceded by his mother, Bettie Mealer Gibbs.
Survivors include his father, Thomas Leon Gibbs (Sarah) of Uniontown; son, Brandon Michael Gibbs (Kayleigh) of Tuscaloosa; sister, Charlotte Ann Beach of Thomaston; stepsister, Sheila Holloway (Marvin) of Georgia; niece, Kristin Ann Beach of Tuscaloosa; nephew, William Bryant Beach of Demopolis; grandchild, Pierce Gibbs of Tuscaloosa; and step niece, Faith Holloway of Georgia.
He was born May 24, 1966, in Jefferson County to Thomas Leon Gibbs and Bettie Mealer Gibbs.
Pallbearers will be Tim Lawrence, Randy Gibbs, Jerry Osburn, Wade Osburn, Bobby Gibbs, and Wayne Gibbs.
Honorary pallbearer will be Donald Sullivan.
