away January 8, 2016 at his residence.
Michael was born September
4, 1963 in Gary, Indiana
to the late Arthur and Irene
(Cervantes) Giese.
Left to cherish his memory are
his loving wife of 24 years,
Trish Giese; daughters: Rachel
and Hannah Giese; siblings:
Jimmy (Holly) Giese, Gina
(Jamie) Hurst, Kevin (Dori)
Giese, Kathy (Carlos) Garza,
and Ed (Jan) Giese; numerous
nieces and nephews; mother
and father-in-law, Chuck and
Jill Lemon; and his comrades,
Ed Hernandez, Mike Higgins,
David Ulemek.
Mr. Giese was a Director of
Customer Services at Oracle
Corporation. He is from Portage
High School Class of 1981.
He was a Ball State University
graduate of 1986, where he was
a proud member of the BSU
Cardinal Football Team. He
was a loving and dedicated father,
hus band, and brother. He
enjoyed long rides on his Harley
with friends, and spending time
with his family.
Visitation will be Wednesday,
January 13, 2016 from 3:00-
6:00p.m. with a memorial
service at 6:00 p.m. at Chapel
Lawn Funeral Home (8178
South Cline Ave.; Schererville,
Indiana 46375). In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be given
towards Rachel and Hannah
Giese, C/O Chapel Lawn Funeral
Home.

I went to Ball State with Mike, haven't talked to him since those days but I was always touched by his craziness, his immense kindness to me and some really fun talks. He always made me feel I wasn't the outcast I always felt I was. Such a loss for words. My deepest sympathies to his wife, children, family and friends. Prayers and comfort on the journey home

The passing of Mike was a very deeply felt pain in my heart. My first thought was that it couldn't be real. There will never be another man like Mike. He is going to be so greatly missed.
