I met Michael at yale. We both were preparing to have a transplant. We became great friends. We shared our love for life. He was the most grateful person I ever met. Even when he was told he had cancer, he expressed that he had 10 great years. I miss him every day. I still talk to you and know you hear me.

One of the greatest gifts my wife Lisa good ever give to me ,was introducing me to Michael 20 years ago. And when he moved to Florida near Lisa and I with Nancy,that was the second greatest gift.He loved Florida,but he loved his family a thousand times more,he couldn't wait to get out of this "god forsaken hot box" of a state to go back up and see his Grand kids. You will forever be loved by so many people Mikey,because you did so much for so many of us.My prays are with you Nancy,Jimmie and the rest of Michael's family.

My dearest Uncle Mike....I have no words but that I am sorry. I know you are with Nana and Poppie. Mom, Sal and I will come and honor you as your family and always know that I never stopped loving you and will always remember seaside park and how very lucky I was to have had you when I was growing up as you protected me and took care of me in so many ways that I never sufficiently said thank you for.
