Dear Maureen, Laura, Ray, Kara, Alex, Jon, Jessica, Lynda, and all the grandchildren -- There are no words to express our deep sadness. I know it has been years since we've been together, and delighted every now and then when I'd run into Laura out and about! However, even with all the time that has passed, please know that our love for your family and the times we did spend together are forever in our hearts. Mike was such an amazing man, always full of life, a good friend, and his love for his family a true blessing. When I picked up the paper yesterday and read this news, all I could do was cry -I can't even imagine what you've all been through. What I do know is that your family will remain strong together because Maureen, that is exactly how you and Mike nurtured it to be. I always felt the love from your family and the sincere caring you had for your friends. May Mike rest in peace and the Angels look over each of you during these dark hours. The Muraca family is so sad to hear about Mike. We spent many joyed filled moments with Mike and his family. Mike was a happy person who wanted to help anyone any way he could. We wish his family prayers and know Mike is in a better place. We know the most important thing to Mike was his family. We hope God gives you the power to know he is at peace and will always be looking over you.

To Maureen and family, we are so very sorry for your heartbreaking loss. It is so hard to say good bye to a man as great as Mike. He loved his family more than anything in the world. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren and all that they have accomplished. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
