Michael Harrison Obituary
Michael was a kind and spirited soul whose life was defined by his deep love for his family and his unwavering desire to help others. He had a heart that knew no bounds-always the first to arrive when someone needed help and never hesitating to give the shirt off his back. His presence brought comfort and joy, and his absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved him.
In the last two years of his life, Michael pursued his passion for cooking with dedication and heart. Whether preparing meals for residents in a retirement home or working at a resort kitchen, he found purpose and happiness in feeding others. Cooking wasn't just a job-it was his dream. He was well on his way to becoming a chef, living near the ocean where he had always longed to be.
Michael cherished time spent outdoors-fishing, fitness, playing softball, and enjoying nature were among his favorite pastimes. But above all else, he treasured moments with his children. His love for Bailee Harrison and Brenden Harrison was immeasurable; they were the light of his life.
He is survived by his mother Kim Alicea; father Sean Alicea; brother Dylan Mitchell; sister Paige Alicea; brother Nathan Alicea; daughter Bailee Harrison; son Brenden Harrison; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Mike Harrison; grandmothers LaVerne Harrison and Della Combetto; grandfather John Harrison; "Maga" Lynn MacDonald; and nephew Landon Speer.
Those who knew Michael will remember him for his generous spirit, infectious smile, and the joy he found in sharing meals with others. His legacy lives on through the love he gave so freely and the memories held dear by family and friends.
May Michael's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and may he rest peacefully by the ocean he so loved. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 26, 2025, from 06:00 PM to 11:45 PM at Merced Elks Lodge 1910 M St
