Michael Hiller

Michael Thomas "Mike" Hiller, 41, of Ashford, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2025. Born on April 27, 1984, in Manchester, Connecticut. The son of Carol Hiller and the late Ronald Hiller.

Mike worked in construction for many private companies throughout his career, most recently with Coastal Home Improvements in Westerly, Rhode Island. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft, he took pride in his ability to build and create. He especially enjoyed sharing his love for carpentry with his children, passing along skills and memories that will endure.

Above all else, Mike was a devoted father. He is survived by his beloved children: Nolan Hiller 19, Jaden Hiller 13 and Alexis Hiller 12. Whether playing catch or football in the yard or simply spending time together at home, Mike cherished every moment with them. He was their biggest fan-especially when it came to sports-and found immense joy in watching them play. His enthusiasm for football extended beyond the sidelines; he was a lifelong New York Giants fan who rarely missed a game, and he always looked forward to Sunday morning breakfasts at home with his family.

Mike is also survived by his mother, Carol Hiller of Ashford, Connecticut; as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Hiller, and his grandparents Alexander and Norma Ferguson and William and Alice Hiller.

Those who knew Mike will remember him as a hardworking man who always tried to provide the best for his children. His presence brought warmth to those around him-whether through a shared laugh during a game or quiet moments spent together at home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6, 2025, at the Ashford Senior Center 25 Tremko Lane, Ashford CT from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
