He always had a song for every occasion and a unique nickname for everyone he knew.

Dr. Huckman was not only a superb neuroradiologist, scientist, editor, board member, and leader he was also an absolute gentleman. I miss his presence in this world.

Always a gentleman to share in the care of patients. My recorder shot into his MRI once and he took it well. He shared a photo of a floor buffer at the Mayo clinic ending up in their unit. A great sense of humor.

His death leaves a great gap in our lives and hearts here in Australia

Michael and Beverly were both kind, thoughtful, full of humor, deeply intelligent. They did good in this world. It was a pleasure to know each of them and neither will be forgotten. With heartfelt

What a truly wonderful man. It was a privilege and a pleasure to learn from him - he is the biggest reason that I am an academic neuroradiologist today - but it was his humanity, always on display, that I admired most. His laugh was infectious, and the few times that I made him chuckle during a stressful workday are some of the most cherished memories of my residency at Rush. He will be missed by so many!

Michael and Beverly were incredibly important members of our community at 175 E Delaware Pl. They were among the first to welcome my husband and me to the building. Michael and my husband shared a love of books and one of my husband's favorite memories was going to two of Michael's favorite bookstores near Evanston to mine for books.

We are holding Michael in our thoughts today. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Andy and Rob: Our families have been friends almost 50 years.
Mike was very kind and accommodating. His outlook on life changed after his visit to India and often he used to talk about it.
