Mike was a treasured childhood friend for me. We had so much fun together as kids, and it was always good to run into him when I came back to New York. I am saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

To my dear friend and brother. Mike, I am fortunate and thankful to have had you as part of my life. Though we met as young adults we had a bond of friendship that was more like brothers than friends. I'm still processing the reality of your passing and I know there will be tougher days ahead for me but I have some of the best memories of my life that you are a part of and because of that you will forever be alive in my heart. RIP brother I love and will miss you until we meet again.

I was so very sad, stunned, and sorry to hear of Big Gentle Mikes passing. He was a great person and a cherished friend from Tech and beyond. I will cherish many great memories of our years together at BTHS. I will never forget all the fun Class times we spent together. You have our heartfelt sympathies and condolences!

... it is with an extremely heavy heart and tears in my eyes that i say goodbye to you, Mike. You were a man who was BIG, not just in not in size but heart, personality and spirit. When i needed a job you helped me find one. When i needed a place to stay, you gave me your couch. You were a guy who would ALWAYS be there no matter what! I miss you and love you BIG GUY!
